So this is what I wore today :).

 I'm absolutely loving this tiedye skirt, its so diverse you could pretty much get away with wearing it to anything depending on how you style it.

I got it from Urban Outiftters but i imagine it would be pretty easy to DIY if your a bit of a tiedye pro.

I also really like this belt, its great for adding a bit of structure to an outfit. You might have noticed i have in nude too- i just couldnt help myself!

OH before i forget, we went to this little cupcake shop today called Back Bird and if you're ever in Aberdeen i totally recommend you go. Its AMAZING.

Coral Coral

 Im not usually drawn to pink and coral shades but i saw these little shorts in H&M the other day and had to have them! Apart from the fact they get creased far too easily, they are the perfect pair of summer shorts - they make my white crochet ones (also from H&M) seem like old news!

I also wanted to big up this basic white top from Topshop, i just love the fit and cut of it. I know it might seem boring but i had been looking for a high necked vest top for so long and i finally found one!

I actually almost lost this jacket last night, it was such a close call and a very traumatic moment! For some reason i thought i had put it behind a christmas tree in this club i was in (dont ask why there was a christmas tree there, i have NO idea!) but in a slight tequila haze i had actually located it in a little cupboard under the DJ booth (again, do not ask me why or how i found this cupboard i have no idea haha). But anyway, it turned up and nobody was harmed and we all lived happily ever after.

This is what i wore to my place of work today, I don't think I could go to work wearing something boring and uninspiring because it would probably have a knock on effect on my creative activity and ultimately effect my quality of work ;)

I try to be creative and make my outfits as exciting as possible but a lot of the time I'm surrounded by Engineers who think a patterned tie with Black trousers and a white shirts is pretty outrageous!

This is quite a conservative and girly look for me but its nice to mix it up a bit and adapt your style depending on the occasion!

p.s i will definitely accumulate at least one colourful and interesting mark/stain on this dress by the end of the day! I think it adds a bit of character.

I actually bought this dress before Christmas but re-discovered it and decided to take it on a little outing on Saturday night.

I'm so glad i found it again, i just love the baby doll style of it and the caged back.

I think this is the first time I've actually let my hair dry on its own and it hasn't turned into a crazy Afro without any products... I'm not actually sure why but I'm definitely not going to question it!

Wow, they are by far the best shorts ive seen in a while. They make my feather ones seem like a thing of the past! (sorry feather shorts, i still love you)

 OH dear.. i think i need to stop shopping in Topshop so much! Saying that, I havent actually bought much from there in a while all of these items are kind of old.

Im not such a fan of all the floral/girly stuff they have in at the moment, its all a bit Little House on the Prarie for me! I cant wait for them to get all of their Autumn shades in.

I love this belt i got from Warehouse the other day its so cool, it kind of makes me feel like a cowboy which is always a bonus.

Warehouse is definitely one of my favourites just now, along with AllSaints. They both have really good sales too so get on the case :)

This jumper was another good find by Australian brand StyleStalker, i love the open back its heavy loose knit feel! Im just a major fan of knitwear with a twist really.

I wore this hat out for a few drinks last night and I think its safe to say all of my friends had it on at some point! oh and i almost left it in the taxi, it must have been just one big adventure for my little hat last night .

Happy Thursday everyone :) I cant wait for it to be the weekend again! Yay.
