Kaleidoscope

Kimono- c/o Oh My Love. Top- Zara. Shorts- Zara. Bag- Ripcurl. Boots- Topshop. Necklace- H&M

Im living in this Kimono from Oh My Love at the moment, I find myself throwing it on over everything and anything. I love the kaleidoscope pattern and the lightweight fabric, its perfect for festivals, BBQ's and basically anything to do with summer.

Im flying back to Melbourne in three weeks time straight into winter and I cant believe how quickly it has come round! Im really going to miss the green and leafy scenery of Scotland. I think im going to have to hunt out some better backdrops than my boring balcony when im back in Aus but first I'm going to have to over come my fear of people and the possibility of bumping into any members of the public while im out shooting my looks. Eeeeeeeek.

July Wishlist

Cap- Topshop. Sunglasses- ASOS. Jumper- TheLostLanes. Rucksack- Dune. Boots- Topshop Shorts- Urban Outfitters

I'm in love with the selection of retro graphic prints jumpers that they have over at The Lost Lanes. They have some really cool t-shirts, jumpers and accessories which are all made and designed by independent designers in the UK which is even better! Everything is all really reasonably priced and totally different from anything on the high street so if you havent already you should check out their website here.

This Rucksack and these shoes are also very high up on my wishlist- love them!

Happy Monday guys :)

Graphic Panels

Top-c/o Lavish Alice. Belt- Vintage. Shorts- Zara. Shoes- Zara. Bag-ASOS.
I dont know if it was the monochrome graphic panels and structure of this shirt from Lavish Alice that first drew me to it or the fact it reminds me of a top I used to borrow from my mum when I was younger to dress up like a penguin but either way I LOVE it.

Its got such a cute 60's feel to, I love the high necked fit and pairing it with these silk shorts from Zara almost makes it look like its a little playsuit. Iv also been wearing this shirt with some rolled up skinny jeans and a beanie for a more casual day time look, or paired with a pencil skirt in the office. It really is the shirt that just keeps on giving, go find it here.

Mesh Maxi

Dress- Tinned Bananas.  Bandeau- Tinned Bananas. Skirt- AllSaints, Vest- Topshop. Shoes- Zara. Bag- ASOS.
How cool is this mesh maxi dress from Tinned Bananas? Its super versatile and looks great dressed up or dressed down with a bit of layering. Im a big fan of mesh and airtex at the moment , im looking for some new layering pieces to add to my wardrobe at the moment, so If anyone has any recommendations let me know!

Ive also recently tried Bumble and Bumble's surf hair spray thats been getting lots of good press and I have to say Im really impressed with it too. Although it gives your hair that nice textured feel it doesnt make it feel dry and crunchy like some of these sea salt sprays do so I would highly recommend it!

Find it here.

Beanie- RiverIsland. Jacket- H&M. Top- Zara. Trousers- Zara. Bag- Moschino. Shoes- Sportsgirl.

Ive finally found an adequate replacement for the mint beanie that I tragically lost to a washing machine malfunction incident almost a year ago. I like the effect that mint has with monochrome, it always feels sort of crisp and fresh.

I wore this outfit to go shopping today and run some errands, these trousers are so comfy and great for throwing on on days like today. I would live in loose silk trousers if I could, the only problem is how easily they crease!

Hope youve all had a good weekend soaking up the good weather! Im off to have about my fifth BBQ of the week, definitely not complaining though.

Denim Blue

Jacket- H&M. Top- Zara. Shorts- H&M. Bag- Zara. Shoes- Topshop. Cap- ebay.

Today's outfit captures the pretty chilled out vibe of my day. I went to the gym this morning, did a bit of work and then decided to embrace the Scottish countryside and go out on a walk to see the cows this afternoon.

You may have noticed that today I have actually decided to style my hair instead of letting it style itself and channelling the dragged through a hedge backwards look. And I think it looks aright, maybe I should style it more often!?

Ive also finally been reunited with these boots that were held hostage for like a month by customs in a case I had sent over from Aus. Its so good to have my stuff back yaaaay....  just in time to send it all back again!

Floral and Mesh

Jacket- H&M. Dress- Lavish Alice. Bag- Zara. Shoes- Shelikes.

Hey Guysss,

I have another little beauty from Lavish Alice to show you all, I cannot stress how much Im loving their new collection! This dress really caught my eye in particular because of the shape, I love the high neck three quarter length sleeve- it even has a cute little slit at the side and the floral print is perfect for summer :)

Ive worn it with this mesh bomber jacket to add a little edge. I find myself constantly in leather jackets so this one is a nice summer alternative to change it up a little bit!

Happy Monday everyone :)

Tinned Bananas

Jacket- Vintage. Top- Tinned Bananas. Shorts- Zara. Shoes- Choies.com

Wooo for Tinned Bananas! I got this really cool bandeau from them the other week and now I just pretty much want their whole collection in my wardrobe. They have loads of cool velour bikini sets in a bunch of different patterns and colours and some other really stand out pieces including a mesh backless dress that ive also got my eye on.

Im really excited by the energy of Tinned Bananas. Their clothing is fresh and fun and the fact the everything is made and designed in the UK is an added bonus!

I have a feeling my suitcase is going to be packed with banana attire before I head back to Aus.

Top- Thrifted. Skirt- Lavish Alice. Shoes- H&M. Bag- Moschino.

How amazing is this skirt from Lavish Alice? Im in love with this and just about everything else from their new collection. If you haven't already you definitely need to check it out

Ive teamed it with this vintage mesh baseball top that I found in a thrift shop when I was in Melbourne, I think it gives a really nice sports luxe vibe to the look. There are so many other things I want to wear with this skirt too, Ive a feeling its going to be a bit of a staple for me over summer. I really hope they bring it out in more colours! I would definitely snap up a black version.

It has been so nice and sunny this weekend . Scotland Is looking so nice and green at the moment and especially beautiful when the sun is shining, I really hope it continues for a bit longer.

Hope youve all had a lovely weekend.

Lost and Found

Top- Topshop. Skirt-Choies.com. Bag- Sportgirl. Shoes-Choies.com

Hey guys, Ive just come across this photo from a few months ago when I was back in Melbourne. I thought it had been lost forever in a memory card malfunction but its miraculously appeared again! Yay, Ive been meaning to show you this skirt for a little while.

I love how different this skirt is for a high street find, its got such a unique structure and the quality is really good. Ive also found its pretty versatile, I can get away with wearing it in the office and out for a night out depending on how I style it up.

I also miss my hair being so light, I need to get some more sun soon. the Scottish weather is definitely all that its lived up to and more... I didn't think it was normal to get hailstone storms in May but apparently so!

Reliables

1.   2.  3.45.

Quite often I see an amazing statement piece that I've just got to have (like these stunning Chloe trousers) but when it comes to styling it up its a lot harder than you think! It’s easy to over load an outfit with too many busy accessories and ruin the overall look.

I like to keep things clean so when it comes to bags and shoes I’m a sucker for simple black leather
accessories because I can wear them with almost anything. Investing in some quality leather accessories
is something that can make such a huge difference to an outfit and will last for years if you look after
them properly.

The same goes for jewellery; as much as I love to go crazy on the odd high street jewellery
spree it’s good to have a couple of statement pieces to wear on special occasions. I tend to stick to
silver and pewter pieces of jewellery - the Alexander McQueen
Flower Skull ring and the YSL Arty ring are my two all time favourites.

Shoes....

1. BCBGMAXAZRIA        2. ZARA.

I would love for both of these pairs of sandals to be in my shoe collection in time for summer. I've been looking for a pair of shoes with a metallic heel for a while now but haven't found any I've liked until I came across these BCBG beauties.

These Zara combination print sandals are equally as amazing and as essential for summer. If only my bank balance could facilitate this...

Silk Separates

Jacket- H&M. Top- Choies. Shorts- Choies.com. Shoes- H&M. Sunglasses- ASOS. Bracelet- Merrin and Gussy

Hey Everyone,

How good is this H&M jacket? It is possibly THE best biker leather jacket I have ever seen on the high street, it was a little more expensive than H&M's usual prices but 100% worth it. Ive been wearing it so much recently and I have a feeling you are going to be seeing a lot more of it on the blog too.

Ive also been dying to show you this little top and shorts set from Choies. I love the silky pyjama-esque feel its got going on, they come together as a set but theyre great for mixing and matching with other pieces too.

A lot of you have been emailing to ask how delivery/customer service is at Choies.com and for me theyve always been great! Ive always been very happy with anything I have recieved from them so even if there had been a small wait it would be worth it in the end!

Bye Melbourne...

1. Graffiti on Greville St. 2. View from Elwood beach 3. Flinder's Station White Night 4. Southbank

Hey Guys,

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you will probably know that I'm back in Scotland at the moment for a short break. Its been so great to be home to see family and friends and take advantage of the British high street but I cant help but miss my second home.

Thankfully my camera is now fixed so I will be back to blogging very very soon ! I have a huge backlog of things to show you all over the next couple of weeks, I think i'm probably going to have to do a post per day to get through it all. I cant wait :)

Hope you've all been well and missed you all these last few weeks!

What I've Been Pinning

Hey Guys,

I have some really sad news... My camera has decided to pack in and die so I havent been able to get any new outfit posts for you this week.

SO instead of channelling my creative juices into styling and snapping looks for you myself, I've been hooked on pinning on Pintrest. Although its not quite the same as creating my own looks its been an adequate substitute for the time being and highly addictive! If you haven't signed up already I suggest you do and get following me heeere :)

Hopefully it wont be too long until I'm back to papping my latest buys but will definitely keep blogging my latest happenings and new obsessions in the mean time!

Hope you've all been well :)

Emerald

Top- JUNK. Shorts- Missguided. Belt- Thrifted. Shoes- Choies.com. Bag-ASOS.
Hey Everyone,

Hope you've been having a good week :) We've been having a bit of a heatwave over in Melbourne this week and its going to get even hotter over the weekend, Im going to Future Festival on Sunday to see The Stone Roses and Temper Trap which I cannot wait for ! The fact that its going to be 32 degrees just makes it even better.

I love wearing this emerald green colour with a bit of gold and black, it gives a bit if a vintage 80's feel to an outfit. Im also still getting so much wear out of these shoes, I think im definitely going to have buy a replacement pair when I wear these ones out in the very near future.

Ive just recently been listed on Blog and the City- a website that lists influential style bloggers organised by their city- I was really flattered to be listed against some amaaazing bloggers in Australia, you should check out their page here  :)
