Spring!

Hey guys,

Hope you all had a good weekend :). Im still trying to get used to this short hair situation and testing out different ways to style it but I'm slowly coming around to the idea- its definitely less maintenance and it feels a lot healthier now which is always a bonus.

Ive already shown you my acid wash mom jeans in an earlier post, but because they were so perfect when I tried them on, of course i had to buy them in grey too!  I could happily ditch low rides for these beauties because they are so damn comfy and I love the retro feel to them (I may have also bought them in one more colour- I have mom jeans problems).

These shoes were another love at first sight situation, you know when you feel like you just cant leave the shop without them because it will be a life long regret?! Maybe slightly dramatic but thats what shoes can do to me.

I'm very very glad that we're coming into Spring in Melbourne at the moment, firstly because everyone loves a sunny day and secondly because the lighter evenings mean I can come home from work and get some blog photos- yaaay. The weather has been a little restricting lately so hopefully this will all change soon :)

Happy Tuesday!

Pinafore

Pinafore- Topshop. Crop Top- ASOS. Shoes- Sportgirl. Bag- Zara

Hey Everyone,

Hope you've all had a good weekend! Sorry for my hiatus the last couple of days, I kind of lost all concept of time this weekend with Australia day celebrations which resulted in a collection of unsightly and now faded   patriotic "I  <3 Australia" tattoo transfers on my arms (hence the long sleeved top). Anyone got any tips for getting rid of these?!

Ive been wearing this pinafore from Topshop a lot lately, I decided to customise it a bit by cutting off the bottom hem to give it a little bit more of a rough edge. I shortened it a tiny bit too so it wouldn't make me look so small in flats!

These Sportsgirl black plimsolls were also a surprisingly worthwhile buy. Since misplacing my converse the other day I really needed some trainers to just chuck on for daily errands and these have been perfect.

Hope you all had a good weekend too :)

Chiffon Yellow

Shorts- c/o China Doll Boutique. Top- DIY . Belt-Vintage . Shoes- Zara. Bag- Zara
Hi Everyone,

I know its still only January and i'm looking awfully summery, but I'm loving yellow just now. I think we're going to be seeing a lot of it for Spring/Summer 12 so got my hands on these shorts from China Doll Boutique a little early in preparation :) you can find them here!

Believe it or not but these photos were taken only a couple of hours before crashing my car into a 21 tonne truck that was coming round the corner on the wrong side of a country road. Words cant describe how lucky i feel to be sitting here writing this just now. The cars destroyed but luckily i escaped with a bit of a bash to the head, some whiplash and a massiiiive scare. Things like that really put things into perspective for you and makes you appreciate life so much more.

Anyways, i guess what im trying to say is don't take anything for granted. You never know what could happen next.
