Hi Friends. This is what i was wearing yesterday, well it was actually a bit of a two in one outfit. At work i was wearing the skirt with a nice little t-shirt but as soon as i left i chucked on this marl grey jumper to scruff it up a little bit!

Just a little bit more draping on my skirt to get me through the week, believe it or not its actually from h&m a while ago in London but people mistake it for Whistles all the time which is never a bad thing! (Big Whistles fan).

I'm having a party on my lips with Rimmel Colour Show Off in no.030, it's a nice matt one and stays on pretty well. ALTHOUGH theres a realllly nice shade ive been perving on in Topshop make-up (which is made by the same people who made Mac didnt you know!) Very good make-upage.

Deena & Ozzy

I cant decide which pair of these Deena & Ozzy shoes i like best... In a perfect world they would all be on my shoe shelf right NOW,but I'm a poor student with literally about £3 to my name until pay day tomorrow so sadly this is not the case.

You can get them at Urban Outfitters along with a bunch of other pretty shoes! I just really like shoes..a lot...maybe too much... sometimes when i walk i just cant help looking at them-

I think its going to be a while before i get sick of draping - if EVER. It just makes everything look so much more interesting.

The back of this skirt is actually quite long and usually comes way down below my calves, so i've pinned two sections at the back up to make it a little more practical for work! Its amazing how you can transform any extra fabric with a few pins.

Ive also taken to Purple-ing up my lips quite a lot lately and have kind of been replacing eye make up with lip wear instead. I really want to try out those Lip tattoo's that have been going around lately but I'm scared i'd end up with it all smudging or half of it falling off or something.

 has anyone tried them yet and how well do they stay on?!

Buckles

I do really like a buckle or two, they just add a little bit extra to an otherwise boring item. Im also a big fan of zips too, anything with some kind of interesting buckle or zip and i'm sold!

I can see me pretty much living out of this cardigan for the forseeable future, its just so soft and comfy!

In other news, Ive been drooling over the Luv Lowe jewelry collection for a while now it's amaziiing! Its a collaboration bewtween Erin Wasson and jeweller Pascal Mouawad and i have to say its pretty reasonably priced too. (available from here :) )

So this is what I wore today :).

 I'm absolutely loving this tiedye skirt, its so diverse you could pretty much get away with wearing it to anything depending on how you style it.

I got it from Urban Outiftters but i imagine it would be pretty easy to DIY if your a bit of a tiedye pro.

I also really like this belt, its great for adding a bit of structure to an outfit. You might have noticed i have in nude too- i just couldnt help myself!

OH before i forget, we went to this little cupcake shop today called Back Bird and if you're ever in Aberdeen i totally recommend you go. Its AMAZING.

 Im not usually drawn to pink and coral shades but i saw these little shorts in H&M the other day and had to have them! Apart from the fact they get creased far too easily, they are the perfect pair of summer shorts - they make my white crochet ones (also from H&M) seem like old news!

I also wanted to big up this basic white top from Topshop, i just love the fit and cut of it. I know it might seem boring but i had been looking for a high necked vest top for so long and i finally found one!

I actually almost lost this jacket last night, it was such a close call and a very traumatic moment! For some reason i thought i had put it behind a christmas tree in this club i was in (dont ask why there was a christmas tree there, i have NO idea!) but in a slight tequila haze i had actually located it in a little cupboard under the DJ booth (again, do not ask me why or how i found this cupboard i have no idea haha). But anyway, it turned up and nobody was harmed and we all lived happily ever after.

This is what i wore to my place of work today, I don't think I could go to work wearing something boring and uninspiring because it would probably have a knock on effect on my creative activity and ultimately effect my quality of work ;)

I try to be creative and make my outfits as exciting as possible but a lot of the time I'm surrounded by Engineers who think a patterned tie with Black trousers and a white shirts is pretty outrageous!

This is quite a conservative and girly look for me but its nice to mix it up a bit and adapt your style depending on the occasion!

p.s i will definitely accumulate at least one colourful and interesting mark/stain on this dress by the end of the day! I think it adds a bit of character.

I actually bought this dress before Christmas but re-discovered it and decided to take it on a little outing on Saturday night.

I'm so glad i found it again, i just love the baby doll style of it and the caged back.

I think this is the first time I've actually let my hair dry on its own and it hasn't turned into a crazy Afro without any products... I'm not actually sure why but I'm definitely not going to question it!

 OH dear.. i think i need to stop shopping in Topshop so much! Saying that, I havent actually bought much from there in a while all of these items are kind of old.

Im not such a fan of all the floral/girly stuff they have in at the moment, its all a bit Little House on the Prarie for me! I cant wait for them to get all of their Autumn shades in.

I love this belt i got from Warehouse the other day its so cool, it kind of makes me feel like a cowboy which is always a bonus.

Warehouse is definitely one of my favourites just now, along with AllSaints. They both have really good sales too so get on the case :)
