The Lost Lanes

Jacket- H&M. Jumper- TheLostLanes. Jeans- AllSaints. Bag- TheCambridgeSatchelCompany. Flatforms- Zara. Sunglasses- Topshop
Hey Everyone,

How cool is this Jumper from The Lost Lanes? Im obsessed with their quirky jumpers and t-shirts at the moment and love that they are all made by independent designers in the UK. I absolutely hate the feeling of owning something that I feel like is mass produced and crops up everywhere, but the designs at The Lost Lanes feel original and unique which I love.

Im also loving these white rimmed round framed sunnies from Topshop and these Zara flatforms that I found in the sale! Woohoo for sale times. I know what a nightmare it is to track down items from Zara sometimes so Ive featured a few similar items in my shop the look link below :)

Happy Tuesday!

Reliables

1.   2.  3.45.

Quite often I see an amazing statement piece that I've just got to have (like these stunning Chloe trousers) but when it comes to styling it up its a lot harder than you think! It’s easy to over load an outfit with too many busy accessories and ruin the overall look.

I like to keep things clean so when it comes to bags and shoes I’m a sucker for simple black leather
accessories because I can wear them with almost anything. Investing in some quality leather accessories
is something that can make such a huge difference to an outfit and will last for years if you look after
them properly.

The same goes for jewellery; as much as I love to go crazy on the odd high street jewellery
spree it’s good to have a couple of statement pieces to wear on special occasions. I tend to stick to
silver and pewter pieces of jewellery - the Alexander McQueen
Flower Skull ring and the YSL Arty ring are my two all time favourites.

Work Wear

Dress- H&M
Jacket- Topshop
Shoes - NewLook
Bag-Topshop

This is what i wore to my place of work today, I don't think I could go to work wearing something boring and uninspiring because it would probably have a knock on effect on my creative activity and ultimately effect my quality of work ;)

I try to be creative and make my outfits as exciting as possible but a lot of the time I'm surrounded by Engineers who think a patterned tie with Black trousers and a white shirts is pretty outrageous!

This is quite a conservative and girly look for me but its nice to mix it up a bit and adapt your style depending on the occasion!

p.s i will definitely accumulate at least one colourful and interesting mark/stain on this dress by the end of the day! I think it adds a bit of character.

Love
